The film stars Sabrina Carpenter, who also serves as an executive producer, alongside Liza Koshy, Keiynan Lonsdale, Drew Ray Tanner, Michelle Buteau and Jordan Fisher.

Sabrina Carpenter played Quinn Ackerman in the film, and recorded a song for the movie soundtrack titled "Let Me Move You". Zara Larsson's song "Wow" also appeared in the film, and Carpenter would later be featured on a remix of the song.


When Quinn Ackerman's admission to the college of her dreams depends on her performance at a dance competition, she forms a ragtag group of dancers to take on the best squad in she just needs to learn how to dance.
