Girl Meets World is an American coming of age sitcom. The series first premiered on June 27, 2014 after the premiere of Zapped, a Disney Channel Original Movie, and ended on January 20, 2017. The series is a spin-off to Boy Meets World, with Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel reprising their roles as Cory and Topanga Matthews now married with two kids now living in New York.


The series follows Cory and Topanga Matthews' (Savage and Fishel) pre-teen daughter Riley (Blanchard) and her rebellious best friend Maya Hart (Carpenter) as they navigate through the challenges of life. The series also stars Peyton Meyer as Lucas Friar, Riley's love interest, Corey Fogelmanis, a good friend of Riley's and August Maturo as Auggie, Riley's 5 year old brother. The series takes place in New York where Cory and Topanga moved in the Boy Meets World finale.



Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard), a twelve year old straight "A" student finding her way in the world with the help of her best friends.

Cory Matthews (Ben Savage), The former protagonist on Boy Meets World and the father of Riley.

Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter), Riley's rebellious best friend who has a broken home.

Lucas Friar (Peyton Meyer), Riley's love interest who is from Austin, Texas.

Auggie Matthews (August Maturo), Riley's younger sibling.

Topanga Matthews (Danielle Fishel), Riley's mother who's a lawyer.

Farkle Minkus (Corey Fogelmanis), A good friend of Riley who has open crushes on both Riley and Maya. He is the son of Stuart Minkus a friend of Cory and Topanga.
